2020/09/14 Some Changes of Approved Tobacco and Alcohol Products Require Application for New Registration

National Taxation Bureau of the Central Area indicated that if a manufacturer changes the name, specifications, volume, net weight, or alcohol content of an approved tobacco and alcohol product, a new registration is required. For other changes in the original registration, the manufacturer shall also apply to the competent tax authority for changes in the registration prior to its production.

National Taxation Bureau of the Central Area pointed out that if an aforesaid change involves only the logo on the package, the manufacturer shall submit the information to the tax authority for reference without applying for a change of registration.
